What We Can Engrave
Wood
Our most popular material and for very good reason. Engraving on wood produces stunning contrast, rich warm tones, and that deeply satisfying handcrafted look that no printed product can replicate. We work with plywood, MDF, hardwoods including maple, oak, walnut, and birch, as well as basswood for more intricate pieces. Perfect for personalized signs, cutting boards, serving boards, picture frames, keepsakes, nursery decor, home decor, wedding gifts, and memorial pieces.
Acrylic
Crisp, clean, and beautifully modern. Laser engraving on acrylic creates a gorgeous frosted effect that catches and reflects light. We work with clear, coloured, mirrored, and opaque acrylic. Perfect for custom awards, recognition plaques, signage, keychains, decorative wall art, and modern personalized gifts.
Leather
Real and faux leather both engrave beautifully, creating a permanent, tactile impression with beautiful depth and colour contrast. Perfect for personalized wallets, keychains, journals, bookmarks, luggage tags, and accessories. We only work with verified laser-safe leather.
Glass and Mirror
Laser engraving on flat glass creates a stunning frosted, textured effect that is elegant and permanent. Perfect for custom picture frames, glass tiles, flat decorative panels, awards, and keepsakes. Please note we can also engrave round or cylindrical glassware.
Stone, Slate, and Marble
Engraving on stone creates a beautiful bright white textured appearance that is striking and weather resistant. Ideal for memorial pieces, personalized garden markers, coasters, cheese boards, and decorative home items.
Coated and Anodized Metals
Our CO2 laser can mark powder-coated items and anodized aluminum by removing or bleaching the surface coating. This produces a clean, high-contrast, permanent mark. Please note this works on the coating, not the metal itself.
Paper and Cardstock
Laser engraving on paper and cardstock allows for incredibly delicate and detailed decorative results. Perfect for custom invitations, gift tags, decorative paper pieces, and signage accents.
Fabric and Cork
We can engrave on cotton, linen, denim, cork and other natural fabrics. Great for custom patches, tote bags, and fabric or cork based home decor.
What We Cannot Engrave
We believe being upfront with you is part of good service. We do not engrave the following:
- Bare raw metal such as uncoated steel, aluminum, brass, copper, gold, or silver. Engraving directly into bare metal requires a fiber laser.
- PVC, vinyl, and most artificial leather. These release toxic chlorine gas when lasered.
- Polycarbonate and Lexan. These produce heavy smoke, catch fire easily, and release harmful fumes.
- Materials with unknown coatings or finishes that cannot be confirmed as laser safe.
