I, Jessie, am the person behind Gas City Creative. I have lived in Medicine Hat my whole life. This city is in my bones. The coulees, the chinook winds, the community that shows up for each other.

Hi, I'm the heart behind Gas City Creative. A mom, a maker, and a Medicine Hat girl through and through.
Here's the honest truth: I am a creative being. I always have been.I have been a creative for as long as I can remember.
Writing, scrapbooking, drawing, painting, sewing, woodwork, custom costumes. If it involved making something with my hands or my imagination, I was in. Creativity isn't something I picked up as a hobby or a side hustle. It runs in my soul. It is how I breathe, how I think, how I show up in the world.
So when I built Gas City Creative, I poured all of that into it.
And then, somewhere along the way, I did what a lot of small business owners do. I listened to the advice. Pick a niche. Stay in your lane. Focus on one thing.
So I narrowed. I focused. I stayed in my lane.
And slowly, quietly, it started killing my spark.
Focusing on one niche was the right advice for a lot of people. But I am not a one-niche person. I never have been. And pretending to be one wasn't serving me, and honestly, it wasn't serving you either.
So here we are. A new chapter. A new Era. A realignment.
We are realigning Gas City Creative to reflect who we actually are. A multi-passionate, multi-talented, family-run creative studio in the heart of Medicine Hat. We are not going to squeeze ourselves into a box anymore. We are going to show up fully, authentically, and with everything we've got.

This is Still Us
I was born and raised right here in Gas City. This community has shaped everything about who I am, and when it came time to build something of my own, there was never a question about where it would be rooted.
Gas City Creative is a real family business in every sense of the word. My husband and kids are part of this journey every step of the way, from brainstorming new ideas to helping pack orders. Products are made with our hands. And every piece that leaves our studio goes out with the same care we would put into something for our own home.We are not a warehouse. We are not a fulfilment centre. We are a family in Medicine Hat who makes things and genuinely loves doing it. When you support Gas City Creative, you're supporting our whole family, and we don't take that lightly.
At the core of everything we do is still the same belief it has always been. The moments that matter most deserve something more than a gift card or an Amazon delivery. We are a custom laser engraving and laser cutting studio based in Medicine Hat, Alberta. We create personalized gifts, custom signs, home decor, wedding pieces, memorial keepsakes, corporate gifts, holiday collections, and so much more. Everything is designed and made by our family, right here in Gas City.
We also offer digital products including SVG and DXF cutting files, printable templates, and design downloads for those who love to create with their own machines.
